THE BIRTH OF THE GALACTIC CITIZENS FEDERATION
BEYOND THE DARK MATTER
In 2016, scientists started picking up seven fast radio bursts from an unknown galaxy. After many peer reviews and countless debates, the scientists finally reached a conclusion. The message contained a warning:
LEAVE EARTH BEHIND.
Researchers and business leaders lobbied World governments to act on the signal. Their warnings fell on deaf ears. Preoccupied with fighting shadow wars and keeping a stranglehold on resources, those in power failed to see the importance of the message.
Not satisfied with governments' reactions, the scientists created the Galactic Citizens Federation, formed to unite the Human species for a better tomorrow. Clearly, that future no longer belonged on Earth.
More signals began to appear, and the scientists started to discover technology blueprints coded deep within the Alien frequencies. This technology was something that had only existed in theory here on Earth. It seemed the signals had been sent to help Humanity reach the stars.
Each signal held coordinates to far-off galaxies. However, reaching light speed was still only a theory until, while working deep into a long winter's night, one scientist discovered the blueprints for a working Alcubierre drive within a signal frequency. This was a startling discovery because it could be done using known technologies. It was now within the realm of possibility to break free from Earth's gravitational pull.
PROJECT EOS RISE GETS THE GREEN LIGHT
Tax dollars from the Galactic Citizens Federation meant that money was no longer an obstacle. With the aid of the Alien technology, Earth's first space elevator was constructed in record time. From there, the rate and advances in space technologies accelerated beyond imagination.
Now it's 2030, and the Galactic Citizen Federation has built Humanity's first ever interstellar spacecraft, the Starship EOS. The mission is to find a new homeworld for the Galactic Citizens before the World's governments reduce Earth to a barren wasteland.
Four team leaders have been selected to lead Project EOS Rise. It's a race against time as each year of exploration brings Mother Earth one step closer to extinction. Each leader has hand-picked their own crew of experts for the mission. The mission will take all of the crew's combined skills, and a little bit of luck, to be successful.
